This page explains how to delete your Niidoo account (Couple or Famille) and the personal data linked to it. You can do it in the app, or by email if the app is no longer installed. There is no fee.
In the app (fastest)
- Open Niidoo and sign in.
- Go to Profile.
- Choose Delete account (or the equivalent wording in your language) and confirm.
Deletion starts immediately. You are signed out. The account can no longer be used.
By email (app uninstalled, or you cannot sign in)
Write to matthieu.royer78@gmail.com with:
- subject:
Niidoo account deletion - the email address of the account to delete
- a short confirmation that you want the account and associated data deleted
We reply within one month. We may ask you to confirm that you control that email.
What we delete
When the account is deleted, we erase the personal data tied to that account, including:
- account and profile (name, avatar)
- nest membership
- tasks, planning, shopping lists, memories, moments / photos you uploaded
- location history we stored for you
- cycle data, if you used that feature
- your email address (it is not kept after deletion)
Shared nest content created with a partner may be removed or become unavailable for the nest, depending on who is left (a Couple nest can close if it is no longer complete).
What we keep, and for how long
We keep a minimal technical lifecycle record (internal account id, sign-up date, deletion date). It is used for security and abuse prevention. It does not keep your email or your nest content.
Backups may retain residual copies for a short technical period, then they expire.
Supprimer votre compte (français)
Dans l’app : Profil, puis suppression du compte, et confirmez. C’est immédiat.
Par e-mail (app désinstallée) : écrivez à matthieu.royer78@gmail.com avec l’adresse e-mail du compte. Réponse sous un mois.
Nous effaçons le compte, le profil, l’appartenance au nid, vos contenus (tâches, photos, position, cycle, etc.) et l’e-mail. Nous gardons seulement une trace technique (identifiant, dates), sans e-mail ni contenu du nid.
